Despite reports of muted ecommerce growth in discretionary categories like home and garden persisting, brands on the Ascend™ Affiliate Cloud platform have experienced gains well above the overall ecommerce growth rate for this vertical. The upward revenue trend that home and garden experienced is likely attributable in some part to consumers opting to outfit their homes and home office spaces as they were living under stay-at-home-orders since mid-March.
While home and garden was already experiencing notable YoY revenue growth early in the year when April and May trends accelerated—topping over 65% growth, their KPI performance on the Ascend™ Affiliate Cloud platform shows overall upticks across the board in revenue growth, total commissions, variable commissions and click percentage.
