Today we are announcing that recurring software license revenue increased 2x in the first quarter of 2019 as adoption of Ascend™ affiliate lifecycle marketing platform continues to accelerate. The rapid expansion in SaaS revenue is indicative of the market’s confidence in Pepperjam’s ability to enable marketers to create operating leverage by deploying the Ascend™ platform. Ascend™ was designed to empower marketers to overcome the legacy challenges of the affiliate category and give them the capabilities required to scale performance partnerships as a viable alternative to continued reliance on primary sales and marketing channels.
To drive the continued adoption of Pepperjam’s Ascend™ Platform, helping clients maximize the contribution from the channel, the company has appointed Seth Goroff as its Vice President of Growth. With more than a decade of affiliate channel experience, Goroff joins the company from digital performance marketing agency iProspect, where he served as the Director of Affiliate Marketing for North America.
“From my vantage point leading the affiliate practice at iProspect, I have witnessed first hand the increased strategic role that performance partnerships are playing in subsidizing higher-cost digital sales and marketing channels,” said Goroff. “ The legacy affiliate marketing network model is dead. To fully realize the potential of the category moving forward, marketers need transparency, safety, and a fully integrated lifecycle platform that automates the historically time-consuming jobs of partner discovery and recruitment. Over the last twelve months I have been consistently impressed by Pepperjam’s strategic vision, customer-centric execution and technology innovation. There is no other solution provider in the category that is executing at their level and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to directly contribute to and fuel that growth.”
“Our strong start to 2019 is confirmation of marketer need and validation of our solution. We are committed to ongoing innovation and an unrelenting effort to redefine the category. Doing so is ultimately dependent upon delivering measurable value to our advertisers, agency and publisher partners. Seth’s exceptional track record of delivering results and his deep category knowledge will make him an immediate and significant contributor in his new role and further enhances our ability to help marketers create the operating leverage they need to build sustainable and profitable businesses. I am thrilled to welcome him to the team,” said Matt Gilbert, CEO of Pepperjam.
