Let me just say that I have a tremendous amount of respect for Shawn Collins because among other things I find him to be incredibly sincere and objective.
I knew Shawn was reading my book because he mentioned it a few weeks ago on his WebmasterRadio.FM radio show “Affiliate Thing” that he co-hosts with Lisa Picarille of Revenue Magazine.
However, I didn’t expect Shawn to read the entire book so quickly and I certainly didn’t expect that he would like the book so much that he would do a video review, as well as a [written] book review on his blog.

Welcome to this weeks edition of Meet The Pepperjam Team.
This week we have Audrey Yedlock. Audrey is a newer face at Pepperjam and has picked up on the business REALLY fast. She is one of the stars of the sales and account management team. Whenever you see Audrey walking around the Pepperjam offices (when she is taking a break from her super-busy schedule of course) you can tell she is full of energy and always has a smile on her face.
Here’s Audrey!
For those of you who don’t know the “rules” behind the Meet the Pepperjam Video Series, here they are:
Every Friday Pepperjam will post a new video interview of a member of our staff - everyone will be included - affiliates managers, executives, search-engine marketing managers, directors, software engineers, assistants, online media buyers, and interns. The person being interviewed won’t know he / she has been chosen until about 30 seconds before the interview - this way you’ll get an unrehearsed, real world look at the employee…hopefully, this will make it interesting and non-corporate, which is what we are known and respected for across the internet marketing industry.
Why are we doing this? Well, I am proud of our team and I think you’ll find them as interesting and intelligent as I do. Also, I’m a student of viral video and the social media space and I want to test the waters as it relates to what corporate america is doing (and not doing) to spread buzz and build next generation work places.
Finally, I just thought it would be cool to put some people in front of a video camera that have never done so before, have a little bit of fun, and see if Pepperjam can spread some additional buzz about why we are the leader in online marketing.
FYI - all videos will also be posted to YouTube. If you think what we are doing is outside-the-box and interesting please blog about it and share the story with the world.
Welcome to this weeks edition of Meet The Pepperjam Team.
Dave Ridilla, is this weeks pick. He has been with Pepperjam since August of 2007 and has been an integral part of helping our graphics department grow and morph into what it has become today. A high quality, rounded and full service one stop shop for everything you need. Dave is the resident Guitar Hero expert (which surprisingly I forgot to ask him about). He is also one of the many comedians here on the Pepperjam staff and is certainly a character as you will learn from the following video.
Here’s Dave!

Welcome to this weeks edition of Meet The Pepperjam Team. So, apparently its been A WHOLE YEAR of Meet The Pepperjam Team, WOW, that was fast. The past year of getting to interview all of my co-workers has been an interesting experience as I get a chance to talk to people I might not be able to talk to or otherwise get a chance to work with. It has taught me a few lessons such as the cliche, “never judge a book by its cover”, “give everyone a chance”, “things aren’t always as they seem”. I, for one, am glad that those cliches are true. Now, onto the video!
Matt Moore! Thats a name you are likely to be heard shouted around the Pepperjam office MULTIPLE times a day. Matt is our resident IT Guy and is needed everywhere, as he explains in his video he does most of the tech work around here including but not limited to psychiatrist, doctor, server attendant, IT Guy, etc…. You get the point. Anyway, check out Matt Moore’s video and leave him some love or hate, but mostly love.

Anyway Sandy brings a level of cheeriness and and upbeat attitude that is seldom seen in people. Thanks Sandy.
Now Onto the Video!

Welcome to this weeks edition of Meet The Pepperjam Team.
This week we would like you to Meet a relatively new addition to the Pepperjam team, her name is Erin Killian and she has been here roughly 2 months. Erin certainly surprised me when she told me her love for all things nerdy including video games and sci-fi. Erin works here in our media division (who may I add are gearing up for a huge year) and always brings her “A” game with her. You usually can find her easily because she is laughing the loudest
Meet Erin!

Hello again pepperjamBLOG readers! It’s me, Kat, director of online media planning and management here at Pepperjam. As one of my several resolutions for 2008 (others include not falling asleep on the couch, going to the gym, and drinking more water), I have challenged myself to become a more active PPJ blogger.Ok let’s not lie – Kris Jones (our CEO) urged my participation – but I’m more than happy to oblige.Media really took off in 2007, transforming the internet space with video, social media, and open source ads. And 2008 is predicted to outpace ‘07 by double digits.According to a TNS Media Intelligence report, Online ad spending is likely to rise 14% this year – making it the only media outlet hitting double digit growth in ‘08 (outpacing TV, Radio, newspaper and outdoor).
So it really begs the question: what is your online marketing strategy for ‘08?Banners, expandables, pre-roll, video, social media, contextual ads, behavioral targeting, retargeting, email? The possibilities on the internet are endless! Why try to hash through all the ins and outs of media yourself? (trust me – it would take a very, very long time…)Let the media buying professionals here at pepperjamMEDIA do it for you.We have the experience, the knowledge and the technology to make any campaign successful. I know, I know - this is sounding a lot like an ad for teamMEDIA isn’t? Well it certainly is not meant to be. Think of it more as a plug for teamMedia….my baby here at Pepperjam. With Media exploding the way it is, can you really blame me for wanting to share all the new types of ad placements and technologies that exist out there? I think not!
Speaking of technology – did any of you read the Media Post Article Monday about DoubleClick’s DFA Spotlight technology??Well if not, you can find it here. If you recall, pepperjam and DoubleClick partnered up last year to create one of the biggestpowerhouses in online marketing. We have used this technology with some of the largest advertisers out there – Nordstrom and Old Spice – and have had tremendous successes with their rich media campaigns. If you are an advertiser with Rich Media ads – you need not look any further for an agency to negotiate media buys on your behalf.Allow pepperjam to place your media buy and utilize DFA’s cutting edge technology to optimize your rich media campaigns. With DFA’s Spotlight tool we will not only be able to calculate how many times your ad was served and clicked on, but we will also be able to measure conversion rates for various actions taken within rich media ads, including rollovers, ad expansions, multiple click-throughs and video plays.Accountability is key – we want our advertisers to be able to create the most effective ad campaigns out there, and with the help of Spotlight, that’s exactly what pepperjamMEDIA can help you do.
So come on… give pepperjamMEDIA a try.You know you want to.
Welcome to this weeks edition of Meet The Pepperjam Team.
Well, another year has past, and often times it creates a period of reflection for us all. At the end of every year we look at what has happened and what will happen in the coming year . It has been a great year for Pepperjam and we have alot to be thankful for and ALOT to reflect on. With that said I figured I would ask Kris Jones if he had anything to say about the past year, what it meant to him and where Pepperjam is heading.
Watch and Enjoy!

Welcome to this weeks edition of Meet The Pepperjam Team. I can honestly say I have NO idea what happened this week, it was the most fun and spontaneous video that has ever happened here and all of it fell right together before Jeff’s interview. Jeff is one of the most well know people around the office, I think everyone here has had at least one conversation with him. I don’t have any more to say, just watch the video.
Meet Jeff

Welcome to MTPT #46. This week we decided that it might be time to interview an intern (actually the intern union was up in arms) and we picked one of the best, Gina Nardone. Gina says she was “like really nervous and stuff” and that she doesn’t do well on film. Well Gina, you did fine and I think the interview came out great. Watch Gina talk… about stuff she likes, her hobbies, friends and family. She also has one hell of a hidden talent that doubles as a funny face.
Meet Gina
