I tried it for a short bit, giving it tens of thousands of impressions, and make virtually no money at all on my technology oriented website. Google Adsense ran circles around it. This is on a site that receives over 100,000 unique IP address visitors a day.

viralmarketing - my guess is that your vertical (travel) is not a great match for AuctionAds, especially since EBAY is not known as a travel website. In contrast, Google's technology is able to deliver highly relevant, high paying travel ads from expedia, cheaptickets, hotwire and others.

95% of the people I have spoken with that use or have used Google Adsense and AuctionAds at the same time have seen more revenue from AuctionAds. In fact, in some cases the two weren't even comparable.

Thanks for sharing your experiences!

after 30 days of testing parallel in 50% adSense 50% AuctionAds random displaying ad both 500 to 600 ad impressions per day, total ~16k ad impressions and ctr ~4% both auctionAds generated $0.00 and adSense couple of hundreds of bucks.

Targeting was sharp with keywords and I cannot believe that after ~600 clicks did not have eBay leads nor sales :(

Maybe it's because eBay is not best place to buy "travel" but I gave up.

Second reason is AA support answers mails with one word like "Sure", "No way", "No we don't" that is sharp but little bit of redundancy would not harm... it makes me feel like that I talk with pimp in Harlem.
