    Kris, you make a great point about how political candidates should be using AdWords, YSM, and Microsoft AdCenter. Then again, I can’t wait until this becomes a mainstream thing and the democrats and republicans start doing click-fraud on each other. Elections are already a pretty dirty business and non-television/radio direct political advertising can get extremely dirty. I can only imagine how in a few years candidates will be accusing each other of using click fraud to ruin each others advertising or even worse, using indirect third party PPC campagains to show horrible messages about their opponents.

    It’s only a matter of time before political PPC goes big and creates a lot of scandal. If anything political PPC will probably end up being regulated by the engines in the same way that pharmacutical advertising is – that you need a special ID proving that you are who you say you are to bid on certain terms, political names, etc…
